SALT Makerspace

SALT Makerspace is a non-profit organization located in Syracuse NY.
We are open from Tuesday through Saturday 2pm-10pm located at 110 Wyoming St.

Makerspaces are all unique, but share many things in common:

  • A vibrant community that loves to make, fix, invent and modify, all kinds of things- and loves to share knowledge and learn.
  • Shared equipment, tools and resources that most people cannot afford on their own or fit into their homes.

Like many makerspaces, we have a mix of high-tech things like 3D printers and Lasers, along with more traditional shops including a wood shop and metal shop. Ultimately, our members will determine the kinds of things we have at SALT. We would like to offer textile/sewing, metalsmithing and screenprinting spaces.
