Protege Cafe is Raleigh’s first cafe-like coworking space to be located in the downtown area.  Right now we are still in the planning stages, but we intend to open in Mid - 2009.

Survey Concept:

Working from home can be a great joy and offer many advantages over the old 9 to 5 in an office.   However, working from home can also leave you feeling isolated and out of touch with others. Wouldn’t it be great if you could combine the freedom of a home office with the interaction of friends and peers?

Protege Cafe is an exciting new coworking space for the mobile professional.  Coworking focuses on creating a laid back community atmosphere while still providing all the essential business services for you to get your job done.

At Protege Cafe we encourage our members to discuss problems, share news, and network with each other during to day.  All members will have access to our conference rooms, business services, shared tech books and the freedom to can come and go as they please.  For those in need of a break, we have a fantastic lounge with couches and tv’s.  To foster our community we run monthly meet ups, host social events, and encourage member interaction both in our space and on our online social network.   Wether you are a nose to the grindstone worker or a social butterfly, Protege Cafe has something for just about everyone. Who knows you might be chatting with your next client!
