Mission
To establish Orlando as a force to be reckoned with creatively and to inspire and motivate our community to keep pushing the boundries of art, design, marketing, code and music. To create a shared workspace for creative professionals in the Orlando area.
Goals
- Completed:
Identify possible locations in or around downtown Orlando. Should have space for getting work down, small meetings, and possibly enough space for occasional community workshops (barCamp, omg!!1).
- Completed. New prices for CoLab come out next month and they are very affordable:
Keep cost low to spur participation (or research possible tiered leasing fees based on activity/use)
- Encourage tech community growth (and communication) in Orlando.
- Establish a "creative corridor" that locals identify as the section of town where independents and creatives gather to work and play
- Get a regular group together in order to find the "anchors" for our space

Hello!
Orlando has now officially a Coworking Space!
For those who do not know me yet, yy name is Fredda Munevar and I am going to be helping with CoLab.
I wanted to start by thanking you all so much for the support you have given us so far!
CoLab Orlando will be opening by the beginning of November. We wanted it to be ready by October 1st but, we have had some delays with the T1 and we know you would not enjoy it without Internet
I also wanted to let you know that at CoLab we welcome all suggestions and ideas from the community. We want to make of this place, the perfect spot for you to co-work, be creative, and have fun!
Even though we are not officially open, we will be more than happy to have you run your meetings from here if you want to at no cost -So please feel welcome!
In addition, if you have not been here yet, please call me, or email me, I would love to show you around and get your feedback about the place.
Lastly, I met with Greg g Pollack this morning, he invited me to attend some your meetings, and I am looking forward to it.

First of all, Thank you for your support this week! We have 10 new members signed up!!!!!!
In addition, I wanted to let you know that there is a rumor around the community…some people are saying the CoLab is free on Tuesdays…I don’t know how it did start but, guess what?
It is TRUE!!!!!!!!!
Let’s try it out for the first 3 months and see how it works…what do you think?
Any suggestions? Please feel free to tell me about it.
Fredda
